Lol yeah I would get tickets. For speeding. Over sets of stairs and bombing giant grass hills. And more sets of stairs, as well as speeding over center medians.

As much as I hate the lack of power this truck has, its treated me really well. I love the color, all the mods available, and the places this thing has taken me. I know I won't have to worry about anything I come up against for the most part out here. It won't do crazy rock crawling but thats not the purpose I bought it for. If I had to do it again I would pick my Tacoma out. If I was forced to pick another truck I would have to say a Tundra or Raptor, just for the power.

I have always wanted a Tacoma. Been a toyota owner all my life going back to the parents. I seriously wouldn’t by anything else. I would love more money to mod it up more and prob get a lot more toys to go with it, but for what I drive every day this is the only thing I want. Of course it could always be better but that just means room for improvement.

I hear Ya! I always wanted this truck. Seems like it took many years to get some so relatively simple but life happens. Nope, this would be the first vehicle in my 12 car garage.

Your absolutely right . Thats why there is the 4x4 one too .When your rich you dont have time to air down and up by hand. That is for peasants. I would just hit the button . Thank God for all the sound deadening too . Gotta take those pesky conference calls while I'm in the shit .

I’m really considering one of these Honda Ridgelines. Anyone know the largest tires I can fit on these?

I have this truck sitting in my driveway right now. It had the backhoe on it but it was taken off since it was turned into a Fire Department Brush Truck. The front bucket is still on it though.

A little something every chance we get.
I can't do money no object, so....
OK, let's see. I had a 56 Ford in the 1970's. The Y Block died after a trip to Chicago for an Eagles concert. I bought a junkyard 351 and AT, but never got it done. I'd like that back.
We had a 1985 Toyota XtraCab, that made it over 100K, before it lunched the head gasket. I gave it to the kid, if he did the work to rebuild it. He did, but after a fortune on audio and audio theft, oh, never mind.good
I went through four F-150's. A good 90's 2 door with a back seat, and a big ding. Kids called it big high truck. I traded that for a 2001 maybe Extended Cab, because I had remote key envy on what we bought my wife. You know, those are USELESS at the grocery store. So, I quit smoking, and used the money on a 2003 beautiful dark green crew cab, with the smaller V8. Moved my older kid to Wyoming for WYO Tech, good truck, terrible mileage, except downhill from Wyoming. When you drive across the vast empty of New Mexico and West Texas - "I need to get a cell phone!", one last, very forgettable crew cab that I traded in to make kids lives work. I traded it in on a Focus. s.....
I got a cancer diagnosis after that, and said I am not living my life in a Focus on the way to work. So, I got my first Tacoma - that was a trade in not in my favor! I did not care. Double cab, TRD, PreRunner in 2005 I am pretty sure, and I was in love with that truck. I leased it. But two years later, when I was getting some service, they offered me a lower price on a new one, this with a long bed (which I ended up not liking), then again, 2009 I am pretty sure, a TRD Off Road, Blue double cab. I loved that truck.
Then, I got my wife a Prius. And we loved it. And gas went up, and I got tired of paying $4.00 a gallon to go to work. I got a Prius go kart to. HONEST - if you commute, you would love one.. Then, life goes on.... Wife got a RAV lease, we ended it. My Prius lease ended, dealer didn't help me out, so I got a KIA NIRO hybrid for mileage, and we love it. And I bought Little Big Red (2007 Tacoma) as prep for retirement.
Well, I got retired early, so I have my 2007, which is a little old at 193K, but is now well loved. And we have our mileage car. But I love my Tacoma, and would only trade it for a "better" one, and at no cost to me! You simply cannot beat these trucks for long term value, and I don't beat mine up, but that was never the intent. Get a Tacoma, you'll be happy. This forum proves you can use them for anything.

Better Question would be, do You look forward to driving it to work to pay for it?
