Absolutely would buy again. My only issue - uphill gear-hunting - was resolved after putting about 1000 miles on it post-TSB. This thing drives perfectly now in the mountains, and I'm actually starting to like the higher-RPM powerband, it's great for passing at highway speeds. 6,500 miles on the truck and have no issues at all!

They carried over issues from the 2nd Gen into the 3rd gen, so I wouldn't hold my breath for 2018!

All the issues will never be fixed. People always have something to complain about.

Glad I bought mine when I did then. And yes. Very happy with my truck.
And most certainly would buy it again. Looking forward to pounding the piss out of it this Hunting season. Mr. Moosey trip coming up in a month. I have a long history of owning 4x4's starting with my first FJ-40 back in the early 70's. Few Toy pickups in early 80's and then in 90's switched over to Ford Rangers. A few Rangers with my last being a 97 mazda B-4000 Ranger Clone. Been an excellent reliable truck that is still going strong with over 350 thou on her. Point being, is I have a lot of ass time in a 4x4 and my new TRD is the bestest of the Bunch.

    DAMN STRAIGHT I WOULD, WOOOOOOO

But in all seriousness there isn't much competition in the midsize market, especially with a manual transmission 4x4, so yeah I would but there isn't much of a choice to begin with.
