Would you still buy a 3rd Gen?

I work for Honda R&D. I bought a new Taco over the brand new Ridgeline after waiting 6 months for the Quicksand color in the trim level I wanted. Was told to order one from Toyota, but ended up buying a white TRD off road almost two weeks ago.

 

just bought one. a TRD Pro manual. at sticker. hope to see it late Oct or early Nov

You have to learn to sift through BS that people come up with, you own something that they don`t, they think what they have is superior to yours yet yours has the latest technology but theirs is better. LMAO

I am sure that some issues are legit but I also feel that a large portion of the BS about 3rd Gen`s is made up BS from internet clowns.

 

I wouldn't buy a 3rd gen until they fix the issues and that ugly ass front end. Also I don't want to turn into a shitty and bitch about it for the rest of my life.

 

Personally I would make purchase again also, owned a Chevy Vortec Max for 10 years prior to this truck, actually test drove the Colorado. Tacoma won out over the Colorado in my book for the looks and stance.

Yes I would still buy a tacoma, the only thing I would have changed is not listening to my 35 yr old son an joining this damn site!

 

Exactly, I have to admit it helped me get my few small issues corrected, but it also keeps me paranoid looking for other issues I don't have.

 

I have a third gen and if it were stolen or totalled l would buy one as soon as possible.

I love my 3rd gen!! Would definetly buy one again! I have no complaints with mine.. All the problems that other have experienced I have not...yet lol. The again I've only had my truck for like 2 months and only 2,100 miles on it.. So I guess we will see.

I use this site for information and toward that end, I've learned a great deal. I simply disregard the trolls and negativity

 

I'm not really satisfied with my truck(see reasons in earlier post), but because I was so eager to get out my GMC that had a factory installed 6" lift I am upside down big time. So I guess I'm stuck unless I get my hands on some CASH!

Yet, if I somehow locate the "cash tree" I have no idea what I'd get. The Colorado/Canyon is nice but I could feel the lack of build quality in my 2014 GMC Sierra. It had a squeak under the dash that drive me nuts! I honestly should have kept my old 2000 Tundra. It was the perfect size and although it was 15 years old with a 158000 miles it felt like it was good for another 158K....Damn...Damn...Damn!!!!!!

 

Nice looking truck, I like the wheels, might have to see how to squeeze out some cash for a set

 

I've had two in the last 5 mons. I guess that makes me the 3 gen poster boy
