I would get a lawyer, their going to do the bare minimum to repair that. That really really sucks that happened to you and once again proves the incompetency of dealership. Dealership mechanics are pushed hard to crank out work orders resulting in this guy not feeling like he had the time to read the work order or take all of 10 seconds to double check his work.

    Too few to list.
I would want a brand new replacement as well as it is a 2015.

And OP, I would refrain from yelping them. Because if you give them a bad review they may not be as willing to give you what you want (repairs or a new truck).

They know they made a mistake. Being an ass not won't help anything. (Not saying you have been).

I also suggest talking to a lawyer and have him/her work with the dealership on a aqeduet resolution.

    A few things
Yea I'm not going to name the dealer or bad mouth them by name. Things are being handled through the proper channels and hopefully things will be resolved in the proper way.

I would ask to meet the tech face to face just so I knew what the world biggest freaking douchebag looked like. You want to keep people that fucking stupid away from you.

But that's not going to happen.

They can fix anything, what makes you think this is to bad?

Eh.....we all make mistakes, thats part of being human. I would be pretty mad but understanding that sometimes shit happens :notsure:

It is all in how the dealer fixes this.

You might get lucky with Carfax. Not all incidents go on the vehicle record. My friend traded his truck in, dealer pulled carfax before the offer, clean. Funny thing is the truck was in three fairly major accidents in its life...

One can never have too many light bars.
I would let them make all the repairs because really what choice do you have. But I would immediately take it to a trusted ASE mechanic after to have them inspect the work. That could have fucked up the suspension.

Judging by the pictures and dealership plates, it looks like Capitol Toyota in SJ? Although there is no need to badmouth the dealership (shit happens), pointing out the dealership will help others make informed decisions when choosing a dealership to use. Just my opinion.

I only let one tech from Toyota touch my truck. He's also a friend of mine, and does all of the CO guys trucks. I know he pays extra attention to ours. Sorry to hear the unfortunate news.

I had a similar incident...I brought a 4Runner from a Chevy dealership and the Carfax came up clean with no accidents. Come to find out the truck had a accident in which it flipped over multiple times and all the pillars had extensive work to them. Carfax may not pick up on the OPs issue they definitely aren't foolproof.
