I recently sold my 2018 SR with 50k to a Nissan dealer for $35k then bought a new 2022 SR for $37.5k total with tax and reg. After I sell off the stock wheels/tires and re-buy a few things the new one doesn't have; all weather floor mats, bed mat, etc. the total out of pocket to switch to a new truck will be $2,400. Insane times and honestly amazed more people aren't doing this type of swap.

    Do it.

We love my wifes 2021 highlander xle. It is incredible. Tons of room and super comfortable on long drives. I have driven it on 10 hour trips 3 times now. No leg cramps or anything.

Back in April I got 21K for my 2014 regular cab 2.7 4x4 with 70K miles on it. Traded for a 2021 DBCB TRD Sport 3.5 4x4. I owe 23K now on the 2021 TRD Sport. 1.99% interest through a local credit union. Love the new Taco.

I traded in my Subaru Crosstrek for a '22 TRD OR. KBB had my car at 31k! THIRTY. ONE. THOUSAND! I bought for 26. I owed 22. Toyota bought it for 29.5. lol. They tried to ask me how much I owe on it first and I was like, just tell me what you'll give me. I wouldn't tell them shit. They offered me 24 at first and I told them Carvana was going to give me 29. They gave me 29.5. Carvana actually only offered me 26.

When they are desperate, don't play their game. Make them play yours.

They also wanted me to finance at 7%. I got them down to 4 but my local credit union had me a 3.04. No extra warranty, no extra fees, military discount ($500 off) and 10k down. Toyota wanted a 72 month loan. I took a 60 month from my bank. No thanks to one more years worth of payments. Truth be told, I could have done a 4 year and been just fine.

If you are not coming out on top with positive equity, know your limits and don't allow them to add 4k worth of crap over 6 or 7 years interest. Shop around. There is ALWAYS better deals. ALWAYS.

People fall into their traps because they are impatient and lazy. Plain and simple.

All dealerships are stealerships. I say again, ALL DEALERSHIPS ARE STEALERSHIPS. inb4 the idiots who got ripped off start commenting on how good theirs was...

    No. No it's wasn't.

I know a few people who have Highlander’s. One in particular leases. His comments have been, “if I knew this thing was gonna be this nice I would’ve just bought it out right instead of leased”. The others swear by them, Especially having the third row seat option.

My truck must be a pos. It is a ‘21 with 3k miles. Went for first oil change last week. Dealer had 1 new and 2 used Tacoma’s on lot. I waited with truck. No one said anything to me. I checked Vroom out of curiosity, $35500. So more than I paid, but still no love.

That is funny. I took my Subaru to the Subaru dealer and they were all over me. I was pretty shocked. They wanted to get me in a new WRX, and I almost did it, but it wasn't an STI so hell naw. Glad I left them behind. But that's when I knew I had a shot at my not so long awaited Tacoma.

The Highlanders are nice. We were going to buy one for the wife but we ended up with a garage queen mint condition 2017 RX350 with 45k for the price of a new Outback 4 banger (non-turbo) with leather. It was a no brainer. Nicest, smoothest riding, most quiet suv we've owned.

I bought my 20 trd or premium for 38k otd during the covid clearance. Same dealership offered me 43k with 24k miles on it but couldn’t put in the same truck but brand new so I had to pass but they keep calling . Absolute insanity.

Good work. Lots of people that don't lease aren't aware you can do things like this with a lease and you can still have equity just like with a financed truck.

Here's some prices in general around me... don't see any 'pro' models listed on this site.
These are all 4x4. They have about 6 in stock all 4x2... the rest are in-transit... as are these
    listed below.
