Been in those shoes. Unless you can sell now and wait until the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2022....

Exactly, and regardless of the chip shortage and rona shutdowns that ''Taco Tax'' is always a thing.

Is that when all of the inflated markets come back to reality?

That's a brand new truck underneath! A good feeling for sure. I had mine replaced a few years back.

It could be. The materials market isn't supposed to be back at normal pricing until late 2022. It figures I am in a patio project right now with wood prices at all time highs. :annoyed:

I paid for a deck for the back of the house in March. Huge rip off, I knew that. I priced it this week, even higher. It seems to all be a bubble, stocks, houses, cars, everything.

Nice! I did the bhlm on mine, but they're looking a little ratty, time to sand em and refinish so they look like yours.

I can’t believe trucks like my 2013 Sport are selling for more then what I payed for it brand new at the dealership. However it doesn’t matter because I don’t plan on parting with it anyway

Bought my 09 dcsb 4x new for 27400. Just clicked over 100k mileage. I wouldn't sell it but good god what is with these prices. Being less than upside down on an older vehicle is an odd feeling. Good but... odd.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Prices are crazy now a days, I was trying to help a cousin to find one, and totally gave up on the search. Told him to set the appt. With the kidney surgeon for removal procedures. Cheers!

A couple months ago, we bought a 2014 base model Tacoma with 66k miles, and the price was almost equal to the original MSRP. That's kind of strange, but I guess it is related to supply and demand.

I had someone put a note on my truck offering $30,000 a few weeks ago...$2,000 less than I paid in Jan 2013 and it's definitely been used in the years I've owned it. I considered it for a minute until I started looking at replacement prices.

Tell me about it. We were supposed to be breaking ground on a new garage later this year but the lumber prices have already increased the project cost by over $35,000 since January.

Holy hell, that must be a huge garage.

If so, sounds about right. Homes around here have increased 40,000.00 on average sized homes 2500-3000 sq ft.
