Awesome. I've never been a fan of the stock Tacoma steering wheel.

No Toyota cruse. The Toyota system only sends two wires through the clock spring. VW on the other hand uses five I believe. I'll have functional cruse, I just can't use the Toyota stick.

Yeah, the problem is with the VW set up, not the Lexus. You're right the the Toyota and Lexus systems are the same.

Oh hell. Just read the whole thread. I was wondering why you mentioned VW.
That's really nice. Seen this in a few Sammies, hope it runs great. Nice project, I just assumed you were going Toyo and skipped to end to see some completion.

IMG_5248.jpg IMG_5241.jpg I've neglected this thread lately. I still have to build a front bumper, reassemble the interior, adjust hood gapping, and tie up a bunch of loose ends, but at least I'm driving it now!

...... and your initial impressions are ?

Good on you for your ambition and stickin' to it.

I'd love more low end grunt for trailer pulling.
Now that I know this is possible, I guess I got some homework to do.

Merry Christmas Mahn, thanks for the post and all the best with your "New" truck !
