See if you can find a trusted individual in the auto body biz and take it to them, if no insurance to cover repair they will sometimes work with you for walk in prices, kinda like Healthcare. Get an estimate for structural and paint. Do as much as you can to replace hood or fender, aka structural. You feel comfortable with. That saves a bunch o money and use them for just the paint and finish process. If your mechanically inclined a bit you can mock up a hood and fender for paint not a cake walk but doable. Toyota sheet metal is always best, but top quality non factory body parts once prepped and painted correctly look and work the same for lots cheaper. New parts out of the box for way cheaper sure prep and paint up sweet. 20 yo Used factory body parts take more prep and labor unless they are mint. Oh and glad no one got injured. Peace out

This, for sure. The fender mounts to the apron, if that's bent, the fender most likely won't line up correctly.

Sucks because they used to be one of the best. I think less and less profits have pushed them to act like the rest of the ins. companies, or greed.

Yeah I concur, it gets way more technical and expensive when the parts your exterior sheet metal bolts to is damaged. I'm putting a fender on that a deer took out, here shortly. Got lucky just fender and paint
