IMG_1229.jpg Wrecked my 5 lugger also hit a black horse at 5am, came over crest of a hill and he was in the raid no time to even brake. Full replacement saved my life, forced horse up and over truck. Only caught top of radiator so engine is fine. Although probably going to part out now. Bumper was still in great shape just replacing to bullnose that bent in.IMG_3424.jpg

That really sucks. My son wrecked our 2002 Prius last year after I put a refurb battery in it. I bet your truck was in better shape than the prius.

My 2010 Tacoma after getting hit by a drunk old man in a 2002 Mercedes E320. I was making a left at a 3-way intersection and he floored it before I was all the way through the turn...

His BAC was .16, double the legal limit. He was charged with and convicted of DUI. He lost his driver's license for only a year and served 40 days in jail (to be served on weekends presumably because of his age and/or family obligations), but the court ordered him to pay me restitution. I used the money to buy 2 dashcams and a new stereo with a backup camera for my truck.

What makes the whole fiasco despicable is that the old bastard killed somebody while driving drunk in the 1980s. He served his time, go his driver's license back, and was basically given a second chance, but he blew it. I think his license should be permanently revoked...

    Whole story here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...k-drivers-mercedes-justice-was-served.435058/

He nailed my truck on the left rear corner and as you can see almost ripped the rear bumper off. About $2,600 in damage to my truck and his Benz was totaled...
