1983 restoration in progress, major mods so far new 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons.
Was on a Facebook page earlier today and saw these two wrecked trucks someone posted.

The first two photos, the guy was barely moving on the Interstate when he was hit from behind by a semi doing 55 mph. All he got was some bumps and bruises. Pretty awesome engineering by Toyota that these trucks can take a hit like that and the driver only suffers minor injuries.

The third photo no one had an explanation for. But look at the front and rear damage, the drivers compartment is still intact.

Gentlemen? Reel it in will ya? How bout some sad pics of wrecked Tacomas? I bought my third one, after this happened to my second. I still feel it's one of the safest trucks I have ever been in.IMG_20161121_144929443.jpg

Believe it or not, it was in my driveway, a drunk driver plowed through my son's corolla, then into mine, full throttle, pushed it ten feet or so, into a retaining wall, other side busted up too. Totalled both my car's, then he put it in reverse to get away, but he was hung up on my step bars. Blew out his tires, literally burning rubber on my driveway. Got loose and drove away on the rims. What was his ride? A 2006 Tacoma. After seeing that, I'll drive nothing else. True story, I shit you not.

He ditched his truck about a mile away, reported it the next day, not admitting guilt. Forward two months, he finally admitted to it and is waiting for court date. Third DUI, just waiting for the inevitable.

There's a house on my block that's had two cars crash into it. Drunk, both times. Both on major holidays. One dude died in my neighbor's garage.

    They moved.

Duel climate might help in this scenario....if you have a passenger.
