i think a round of wet willies are in order.

 

I checked out the youtube pages facebook page. It looks like they've landed themselves in trouble several times already. The majority of their videos have been taken down due to copyright issues.

 

Yep, sounds professional. Definitely add a "watermark" with your channel id so his viewers come to your channel from now on.

 

The links to my channel will only appear in my videos not when copied. Hell, I don't even know how to download a video off of youtube.

 

They can use a site to input the URL of the YouTube link, and it'll take the video from that and make it into a FLV, or similar file. harder to get rid of a watermark, even in editing. But I doubt they'll want to spend that much time on trying to copy someones work.

 

Not like an annotation, an actual mark on the video put there with your video editing software before you upload it.

I went ahead and submitted a Copyright Infringement Notification to Youtube concerning this video. This guy has had his page shut down before for copyright infringement so I'm not surprised to see my footage showing up. I will place a watermark on my videos in the future.

 

And the watermark doesn't have to be big, or an off the wall color. I'm a fan of the transparent ones.

 

The videos he copied are ones that don't have any of my annotations in them. I'll see if my software will let me add a transparent watermark. If nothing else I can add an outlined, WrecksOutMyWindow, in the top corner of each video.

 

I like your first notion of visible notation so people can come support your channel. Step 2: profit.

Oh, and on another note I got 1700 views in one day this week. I don't know where the hits came from, but that's an all time high for me.

And if you can't figure out how to do a watermark...just stick a sticky note with your name and copyright on the window or something in view of the camera LOL You can put it to where it only covers the trees or something. That's what I would do since I don't know the other way to

It's been real quiet here. In fact, it's been a month since our last wreck. We've had slow times before, so this is nothing new, but it sure is annoying.

I have a couple of new "near misses" and one minor rear ender, but not quite enough to make a small compilation. I'll have to wait for a few more as I need about a minutes worth of video to make it worth while.
