What amazes me is the fact that I think I saw 1 person stop to see if everyone is ok. Nobody stops to be a witness or anything gees dude. anyway. I'm sure their insurance company's would like to see the videos cause nobody stops to be a witness. On the law enforcement side all accidents are civil in nature. there's nothing the police really do except take everyone's version and put it in a report. We are not even required to write a citation unless someone admits fault or we witness the accident. that's here in Fl. don't know about your states.

Here in CA, they cite all the time if the officer can determine the party at fault.

I've got countless hours of video of bonehead moves (including a couple of fatals), but our software doesn't export to a standard format.

You are talking about someone who didn't see a red light (or thought they could make it).

He/she could've avoided it by stopping for the red light.

Yeah I think that is strange cause the "at fault" party can contest the ticket in court. The first the the hearing judge will ask, if there are no witnesses, to the officer is did you witness the infraction. Of course no, and the ticket gets dismissed leaving the two accident victims at square 1. He said she said argument once again...

Yeah, they stopped. I thought for sure that it was a hit and run. That's the reason I went downstairs. I gave the victim my card so they can get ahold of the video if need be.

The guy in the suv went off in the ambulance for some reason. I can't imagine that impact warranting an ambulance ride.

For some reason when I saw the video, maybe the way the white vehicle doesn't so much speed as just cruise through the intersection, I thought the driver was possibly a type one diabetic with dangerously low blood sugar, which can cause almost drunk driving behavior or worse.

WHY I thought this, I have no idea... obviously I have nothing to back that up with haha, but that would warrant an ambulance ride if it was low enough.

I'm surprised that car behind the black one that got hit didn't get nailed. He stopped excessively fast even though he had a huge space in front of him. Good thing the car behind him was paying attention

Here's another one. This one happened on the other side of the Beltway so I didn't bother adding the aftermath to the video, it's hard to see what's going on.

So, just how long was that light red?
