I went from a standard cab to a double cab. I will never go back for a DD. The space and storage is worth every penny to me. I was looking for a 1at gen DC when I started looking for a trail rig.

 

Well, then if you get your new truck, we should make your old truck a prerunner, with my stock parts and mine a 4x4

 

Ok; it has been more than an hour. Did you get the truck?

 

$13k?!?! Wow. There is a truck just like your for sale in Granbury for $9k and I thought that was high.

 

so one of my friends w/ and f150 wants to try his luck out in bridgeport on sunday....this should be interesting

 

So your saying his Ford can't do it or he can't do it?

 

Both can't do it, lol

 

I dunno we will see. Its a single cab so that helps his wheelbase issue

 

When you going to get the OBA?

My last truck was a single cab F-150 2WD and it did pretty good in most off road situations. The tight trails at Bridgeport might give him more of a problem then the 2wd.

 

Adam and I seemed to do ok with the 2wd. Just needed the proper application of skinny pedal. He is going to be in "full size" so that would be what makes it interesting.

 

So standard cab with a long bed? That is going to be his problem. Remind him to air down his tires when he gets there and that will resolve alot of his traction problems. I know I would of done alot better if I had aired down to around 20 psi and had some weight in the bed. I had plenty of skinny pedal.

 

I don't think anyone aired down last time. I am thinking of doing that this time.

 

2. Robert - Installing speakers front and rear, may do a new grille, need to get mesh and grille.

 

Coming to watch and lend a hand where needed.
