That is exactley what my 2008 was doing. The dealer tried to lube it and I didnt even make it out of the parking lot before I drove it right back into the service bay for the noise.
Start looking for a junk yard assembly. Also do a search on here to see if someone has more info on the part causing the noise.

The 19th is father's day so keep that in mind. I think other than that weekend my schedule is pretty open.

so thinking of trying out some 3/4 rigid conduit to use for the frame of the skid since its 15.00 for 10 ft of pipe compared to 180.00 for 12 ft of 3/4 3/16" DOM tubing. just did some research and it is weldable, just have to make sure to grind down the area to be welded, and make sure to wear a fume mask cause the zinc fumes will make you sicker than a dog. so ill bring a couple sticks of the pipe to the meet to cut and try welding it up when ever we decide when the meet is. That's if your cool with that Robert? ill just have to remember to bring a 1" bender and a ban saw from work to use. They say to drink milk before and after welding it cause it helps keep you from getting sick, but a simple mask will do that too.

to make a frame to support the skid plate on, since there is no good mounting area on my truck with the fabtech drop bracket lift so I have come up with a frame design to hold the skid plate and secure it effectively to the ARB front bumper and the Drop bracket without having to drill any holes in anything. will give the skid some extra strength for impacts too, since it will have 2.5 feet of open length.

Any of the last 3 weekends I am good, I am off each Sunday and get off early (around 1:00) each Saturday. Father's day weekedns would not be best for me. Whether it is Robert's or John's doesn't matter to me; who has the most room in their garage/driveway; and more heavy equipment or tools that may be used?

Also, who has experience with fiber glassing?

To fill you in for what I am wanting to do, I have a grill to mess around with and the tab at the bottom center is broken. The grill will still work, however because this tab is slightly broken, it causes a slight rattle on bumps. Any other suggestions other than fiber glassing?

Is this a stock grill or mesh, satoshi? If it is stock I might try trimming out that tab entirely to keep it from rubbing against anything. I'm not sure what it looks like so I don't know how much help this is. I just finished mounting a mesh insert on my grill.
