just got my tires balance (non road forced) and they were way off. lol F the dealer. they said a road force couldnt even get them back into spec.. 40 bucks and 30 minutes later at discount. DONE. lol

i wasnt refering to the leafs as a cause of vibration.. they are a seperate issue im fixing. the bushings are toast and squeak constantly. i picked up new upgraded TSB bushings to fix that. im also removing one of my leafs (probably my overload) to softern up the ride and lower the rear some.

thanks for the offer tho man.

Fuck Power, been getting my parts from Rich over at Right for almost ten years now. Dont know about the techs though.... sounds like somebody just didn want to force match your wheels. Which with the size your running 40 minutes to force match them all is pretty friggin rediculous.

btw you haven had your shackles off before have you? I put my bolts in backwards before, which was the total cause of the squeaking.

I used to go to Right all the time. Thats where I bought my 06. Then just started going to power since its closer. The service advisor I use everything is a good guy tho and makes sure I get my requests done. This time idk. I did have alot of stuff to get done.. but Its no excuse. Now i know not to go there for balance anymore. Discount was great tho. In and out and didnt even need to road force them. Just a regular balance. Guy said if I needed a force balance, that he would credit me the regular balance towards the force. So far It seems much improved so I may not need to.

According to a friend here at work (his dad is a dealership director in IL) the best Toyota dealership in the area is Big Two.

He owns a Toyota and they looked up all of the company ratings when he was looking to get some stuff fixed, and spoke with the regional director of Toyota, who gave them all the good info.

On the other hand, Riverview Toyota is absolute garbage and is guaranteed to fuck your shit up....... this is what the regional director said...

EDIT: they are all DEALERSHIPS and will fuck shit up regardless of how good their "ratings" are.

No I havent. Its the bushings 100%. I got up in the fender and put my ear right to it. each one (there are two on each set of leafs for 4 total on the truck) they are shit plastic ones. These new ones are thicker and rubber. Got the idea from the squeaky leaf thread. Everyone that has done the swap so far said it solved It.

I've done work at earnhardts and power and river view before I decided I didn't want to be a tech anymore. I have buddies at earnhardts plus am very good friends with the owners. They always work on my truck

Sir I take huge offense to that, being that I worked at Schumacher European as a tech for four years, the NUMBER 2 Mercedes dealership in the nation.

I know how many bushings are on a leaf pack LOL

How much did those run you. My lower control arm bushings ran me 50 a piece at my cost.

Its not necessarily the machines in the case with truck tires 31" and above. Its more of where you tell the machine to put the weight. after fiddling around with outside to outside with clip weights and inside to inside with stickys. The best option that i found was inside clip weights and inside stickys. Dynamic balance is what the machine calls it.

Theres a reason it is the #2 dealership. Pride in services. Most other places dont have that, and their work refelcts it.

Damn right we have pride, plus my ol man has been workin his ass off as shop foreman there for the past 10 years which helped turn the amount of customer kick backs and service quality around. Service department is the number one money maker at any dealership.
