Hey OP. Do what you want to do. Be you brother. Ain't nobody hating but you. The very first post solicits an opinion. You get a couple you don't like and you put them down. See me and auskip. If you didn't want to hear opinions why did you ask? Sounds like you already decided to buy and were just looking for an atta boy.

No, not at all. Perhaps I should have been more clear in my opinion request. I really was hoping for(but did not voice appropriately)someone that had some body shop experience if they thought it would be worthwhile to do. As someone(myself)that doesn't know anything about body work or the cost of body work, I thought insider perspective would help with my decision.
In my haste to get some feedback, I neglected to effectively communicate that. I take responsibility for that. Honestly, when it comes to appearance of my truck, I could care less others opinions. However, when it is an informed opinion which can gain me perspective into a matter I dont have...that I care about.
So thank you, whether or not your opinion was helpful or not. Next time, I will ensure to preface my request better, as not to solicit the wrong type of information.

    All the things!
I have first hand experience. I got a rock dent in my hood in a similar size and spot. It cost $950 to have a reputable shop repair it. Bodywork and paint the spot and reclear the entire hood.

There's cheaper places to get it done, but you get what you pay for. I'm a self described "picky asshole", so I didnt want halfassed work.

Just add more scoops to hide the dent.
