So I recently got a 2022 TRD OR DCSB, and in my excitement I ordered some Method wheels. I had originally sourced them on Method and then when I went to order them on 4Wheelparts to take advantage of free shipping, I didn’t notice they were 6 x 120 rather than 6 x 5.5. And of course, tire shop already mounted the new tires I had got for them before they realized my mistake. What are my options other than trying to sale the wheels and recoup my money?

Eat the cost of the tire mounting, sell the wheels, put tires on your new wheels.

    That's your only option.

Sell them, buy correct ones. Eat the loss and learn from your mistake.
    Good luck.

You could take the wheels to a machine shop or a wheel repair shop and have them drill and counter bore the correct bolt pattern between the existing one if the design allows. Doing this would require some repainting though. I would do this instead of using spacers/adapters, but cutting your losses and getting the proper bolt pattern would be the best way to go IMHO.

Honestly, drilling an extra set of holes in your wheels is a huge liability. I’m pretty reckless, but even I couldn’t drive around on a set of wheels with 6 extra holes drilled into their webbing, regardless of design.

The most logical thing would be to trade the Tacoma in for a Colorado, problem solved

Thanks everyone, I figured as much just wanted to be safe. I am going to just cut my losses and order the correct wheels and then try to recover as much of my loss as possible on Ebay hopefully. If you guys know anyone looking for a set of these let me know, they can get a smoking deal lol.
