If your friend can get compressed hydrogen cheaper than compressed air, maybe he is smarter than the toyota engineers :stirthepot:

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
If your friend filled the tires with pure hydrogen, and assuming he drew a complete vacuum on the tire first (since he's smarter than the engineers) you'd be above the UEL/upper explosive limit of 75% hydrogen. So if the truck did indeed detonate, it was likely something else since the hydrogen would just burn. Have you checked if something else was wrong - say, running 10W-30 in a tight tolerance engine?

No way the hydrogen would burn if he pulled full vacuum first, oxygen is required for combustion and non would be present in the tire.

    Yeah.
LOL, WTF is up with the sound? And I feel like I need a shower after all that rubbing, squeezing, and patting.

But to stay on topic . . . wait, what were we talking about?

Just drive for a few minutes and the heat buildup in the tires will melt it.

Got a whole tank of it, but he chains it to the frame anytime he brings it over cuz he doesn't want anyone to steal it.

Bet it uses the same gutless wide spaced 3 speed from the Wingle. Nothing is sacred in the hundred acre wood

This bad boy. Has been running 10w-30 for about 150k. In a perfect motor like a g3. It's much to thick. In a older engine with ring fatigue or seal issues it can get you almost 300k I'll role it next year. Your dad worked on engines that were not the same as today. Can I get his shop name? My g2 has a oil burn he will fix...

    Hug your Dad..

Oh for sure, but if you are paying $8000 for an oil change, regardless of the car’s pedigree, I would argue you are getting an honest-to-goodness boning, no questions asked.
