    Work in progress...
I pick up that Mobil 1, 0W20, at Costco when its on sale. I think I am still paying around 40 bucks for 6 quarts, on sale. I accidentally bought the 5W20 one time. I ran it for that summer but changed the oil as soon as the weather started to cool off.

Look at that, they did an oil test for warranty work.

And people said I was an idiot for suggesting Toyota might do that lmao

    :D

I think this one takes it. The oil was so thick it blow a head gasket, the bearing clearance is so tight would not allow the oil in, the pump couldn't move it because it was so thick. Bottom line it's all about fuel economy nothing else. But I'm thinking I just changed my oil in the 2011 and gasp I used 10/30 oil! Oh damn I have even been plowing snow with it too. Maybe if I let warm up for an hour it will thin out enough to drive it or maybe a heat lamp over night.

Yeah I live in Maine my drive way is over 1/4 mile long. Fisher plows are made in Rockland Maine, the Tacoma one is called a Homesteader look it up it a great plow for a small truck a really well though out setup on and off in 10 minutes. The mounting assembly bolts to the frame. Unlike most plow people I do not try to launch snow into the neighbors yard, low range and push snow, now get this I have a manual on top of that with only 160K with the original clutch! OK I get it we just had over 12" of snow with rain on top of that, tractor and loader for that one finished with the plow.

Oh neat. I'm a big fan of.... Not plowing. Considering I did it for DoT for 9 winters.... Lol. But I get it, not everyone can drive tacos in the snow. Lol

Just throwing shade. It is the internet, after all :drunk:

I saw that, some people here don’t have a clue.

Of course Toyota would sample the oil vs volunteering to shell out $8k to replace an engine.

It was never going to be warranty work. No oil test needed.
