    Thanks for all your thoughts!!
Heres what happened. We were traveling in lane #3 of a 3 lane highway (400 at Barrie) at 110 -115 km. A 5 ton straight trucks wanderered into my lane and hit my rear side. This pushed me in a bee line to the centre medium which I hit hit spun 360. His truck broadsided me on the way right at my door. We thought we were going to die but the guardrail held us from going into the southbound lanes. After the dust had settled, we were surprized that we were not hurt and no other cars were involved ( it was almost rush hour). I couldn't open my door so we crawled out the passenger side and were extremely surprised to see the amount of damage on this truck. Its hit all over the place. The rear axle is all bent. The front is all smashed, tires blown, the cab is destroyed on one side. A total wreak. We don't even have as much as a headache. This truck saved our lives. You can see the hit, right where I was sitting and I didn't really feel a thing ( might develop a few aches in a day or so). I'm surprised that no airbacs deployed.

    Glad you're alright!

I wrote off a 2007 TRD Offroad. Got rear ended on the highway. Also no airbags went off and nobody seriously hurt (except the truck).

I felt crappy about the truck until I got a new one from insurance. It took a while before I felt OK driving again. I think the Toyota dealer was surprised when I had already owned a Tacoma for 2 years- I was driving like I was afraid of the gas pedal on the test drive.

I was very shook up. But i'm good at fluffing things off and moving forward. I got a rented silverado regular cab (very weird) and now I get to shop for something new. I put 50K on it in less than a year so if they don't depreciate it I gain big from the experience.
