Does anyone have one of the new grill from a 2011 Tacoma, with the honeycomb mesh behind the bars, like the one below? I have an '06 Indigo Ink Pearl so I am hoping to just be able to swap the grill and not the whole surround. Let me know :)

How are you planning on getting the grille out of the surround of one truck and into the other?

hopefully with a dremel and a steady hand, but I'm not 100% sure it can be done. Any ideas?

I've heard of people melting the tabs that hold the grille in...I guess you'd have to plastic weld them back in or something.

You really like the new grills? Make it easier on yourself and go with a grillcraft or even a custom type grill insert.

I checked out the new grill when I was getting my oil changed and I personally think it is more flimsy that the one on my 2010.

The 2011 tacoma's also look like they have different lights then the other 2nd gens. They look more white.
