I have a seven pin thats been spliced back together, but it occurred to me that one could probably be found for super cheap in a junk yard. Unfortunately none of them local to me have any second gens. So this is more a plea for someone who may be able to check a local yard and snag one for me. I'm willing to pay for the price of the pig tail, shipping (probably a flat rate box), and some extra for the trouble and your time. Depending on the price of the pig tail of course. Looking to stay under about 50 bucks, just can't see paying 180 for a harness... Anyone interested or have any other ideas let me know. Thanks guys.

If the only thing wrong with yours is a spliced connection, why are you replacing it? A splice won't affect the performance of the plug if it's properly soldered and heat eat shrink applied at the connection(s).

Also, 7-pin pig tails are available at any local auto parts store for a lot less than $50.

I want the Toyota plug and tail as my bumper is cut to accept it. I cut the stock one off to relocate a 7 pin plug to the stock bumper. When I switched to the bumper I have now I had to fabricate terminals to fit back inside the stock plug as the dealer could not get them for me. So that plus the spliced plug is why I want to replace it. If I could simply buy a generic one locally I would have. And do you mean I can buy the pig tail that is designed to plug into the Toyota harness? I've never checked but something tells me no. I know that a splice will not affect it as I have used it as it is now. But if I can simply replace the tail for cheap I would like to.
