Yeah I just bought the truck and am going to go a light bar instead of a bull bar. I just listed it in the local classifieds for $250 or $320 with the Hella 500ffs. The bar looks good and has no damage, the lights I just put on and are new. Let me know if you are interested and I'll check into shipping...thanks

OP, seriously, save yourself the money and get some sort of light bar, or a full bumper armor of some sort. All the bull bar does is scratch your bumper and makes your front end look like crap from the side. Don't get me wrong, I had mine on for a good six months, and from the front, your taco looks super aggressive, but after a while it just dies on you. So you sell it to the next poor guy that wants one.

What do you mean scratch your bumper? Is yours positioned touching your bumper?

Well, if you're an idiot, like me, and forget to tighten down all the bolts after a ride or a few days, the bolts will be lose enough for it to vibrate alot against your bumper...i'll post pics later...but It basically wore itself a little line along the top of my bumper and then a little hash mark on on of the corner. So if you do get one of those, I've heard its recommended to put a piece of cardboard in between your bumper and the bull bar until you do a final tightening. Plus i positioned it wayyyy to close to the bumper, so anytime I bumped something on accident it just brushed against my bumper some more...

Does a brush guard look good? I might get a black one to match my all black Tacoma to make it look a little more mean.

No but it will do more damage in many low speed hits than if it weren't there. I would just consider it a look thing. Get it if you like the look (I don't personally, but I have an ARB bumper that I love and a lot of people find ugly, so "eye of the beholder" right?) but don't consider it armor/protection.

^^ That's another reason I got rid of it, I heard to much about it actuslly causing more damage in a wreck than normally
