WTB; custom roof vinyl

Hey everybody...

I have a roof rack and would like to pull it off and put down some vinyl before putting it back on. It’s really hard to clean the paint, so I figure this will help keep it in shape if I ever take the rack off.

I’d like to have a custom print done, perhaps a topo or compass design. Any recommendations for online vendors, and what particular material since it will have to be printed?

Want to do this myself but wrap it in matte black. A professional shop quoted me $600!. I think you can buy a large sheet of uv protected online for like $100 or so but the print will vary.

 

Yeah, I plan on doing it myself. I’ll default to some standard topo print if I have to, but I’d prefer to have a large compass up there.

 

Have you tried pitching your idea to a local vinyl shop? If you can put together the design, all they'd have to do is print it for you.
