    Wow! 1st off you should and everyone should call him out for doing shady business, but do it tactfully and don't revert to vulgarity, because you are now on his level. 2nd and most importantly - you guys that bought the stuff didn't do your homework and inspect the used items well enough. Lastly, as you have done...open all lights up that have fogging or water in them and reseal them with some rtv silicone and you are set. Keep us posted!

    Sorry to hear about the leak. Thats a major burn. However, it seems like you're on the right path to seal them. The EBay ones will require you to take them apart and reseal 8 out of 10 times. They just don't place any silicon to protect from the rain.

    What you've done should stop the rain from getting in. Make sure to place more sealant on the outside of the headlights also. Thats double the protection.

    so far so good, no condensation in the lights over night and we had some frost too!!!. I think they may be fixed now :)
