My question is would i have to replace the headrest i have in my 08 DC sport to fit a 7" headrest DVD player in it? i was going to just buy the monitors with dvd players in them and fab them into my headrest. Or would it be cheaper to buy the whole headrest with the DVD players in them? If so where is a good place to buy them for a good price? I want them first (2 kids) then i will upgrade my HU to a DVD/NAV double din unit. Thanks for the help

I'm not sure if it would be cheaper but it will be a LOT easier to buy the replacement headrests with the dvd/monitor built in. There are lots available out there and I like the high resolution of the Myron and Davis as seen here

(high resolution may not matter to the kids which could save you a few bucks!)

I've been wondering about this, too, and found this link you might be interested in:

    http://www.autoanything.com/driving-accessories/75A4865A0A0.aspx

It's the Vizualogic A-1290 Headrest Monitors.

What I like about it is that you add it to the existing headrest. Here's their photo.

I can't decide if I think it is ugly, or if I like it better than directly in the headrest. It would be nice to be able to have Wet Okoles over the whole existing seat, with this behind it. Anyway, see what you think.

I haven't figured out what year Tacoma's, if any, they make them for. Just haven't taken the time.

There was another TW member that did it but now i cant find the link. I am looking for a cheaper set that i can mount in the seat. but then again i am getting racing seats so i guess i will have to get the removeable kind.
