    For 2001 Tacoma 3.4

Looking for a factory air intake, from the air box up to the throttle bottle. PO installed a K&N and didn't keep the factory intake. Please PM me or respond if you can lend a hand! Also, I'm assuming I'll need a few long bolts to install the airbox. Any info is helpful!! Thx. :)

this kinda belongs in the buy/sell/trade section. You need 50 posts to post over there, which is probably why you're trying here... You can definitely search there to see if anyone has one without that 50 post minimum.

Yeppp. I wish I could post there, and alas w/o 50 I can't. So, you guessed correctly. I'm sorry to bomb the general 1st gen threads :(

you might try a wrecking yard. I also have the K&N "warm air" intake and wanted to replace it. Although the last time I asked about one (many moons ago), they wanted like $150 for a USED one. I never bothered to look for one again... If I ever want a snorkel, I'll need one, though...

Thanks @jbrandt I tried calling Yoda Jims and the dude on the phone was really confusing. He had difficulty describing what they had. Maybe it's a lack of using common language.

Since I'm missing the entire OEM intake, it's hard to know what I'm looking for exactly. There is the air cleaner (box where the filter goes), then the hard rubber hose connecting to the TB, then also a resonator, correct??

Yeah, in person is easier. Also, if there's a pick n' pull, that'd be ideal since you can just go and look for yourself.

Totally. I looked there b/c that is where stuff used to be listed. Now it's all new flashy parts that aren't OEM

That's what I'm thinking I'll have to do. It'll be a mini road trip for me b/c I live in Gunnison, CO - in the middle of nowhere Colorado. Thx.

I bought good used OEM stuff from eBay to replace my loud air box six or so months ago. It is
great that my truck no longer moans :) ...

Thanks Mike. I have been looking on ebay. Perhaps I'm not using the correct search terms?

I just looked with "95-04 tacoma air box" and "95-04 tacoma air intake" and "95-04 tacoma air filter housing"...

I only see a couple of 4-cylinder boxes with no other stuff (and all the Dorman new stuff) ... I waited until
I found a box plus the hoses for a 6-cylinder for a good price and just submitted to the moaning in the
    meantime.

There's differences in the years, too... I gave my loud air system to BurntKat and his 97(?) OEM stuff looked
a bit different from my 2002 OEM stuff...

You can buy “the box” on Amazon for around $65 and there’s a guy in the first gen sale section selling the intake tube with resonators. I’ll see if I can find links for you.

Wow, this is HUGE! Thanks for helping me find these bits and pieces. I sent a PM to the guy with the parts. I had seen his post in the parts marketplace earlier and he said he still has it, so this could work out well. I still may have to make some mods to get it all to fit (hardware I'm thinking) and I'm glad it's seeming to come together. Thanks again!:D

Do you know if the Tacoma and 4runner intakes are the same?

I've seen some videos of 4runner air boxes and they don't seem the same (in looking alone).

No problem! Glad I could help you out. One bolt you probably will need is the one where the air box connects to the core support (near the hood latch).
