If anyone is willing to sell me their stock TRD skid plate at a reasonable price, I will take it off your hands. I might consider shipping, but I'm also willing to drive a reasonable distance to pick it up.

I am also in Fort Wright, KY.

    Thanks

For your information, you will need the straps that hold the tank too. They have downward pointing threaded studs at the bottom (which your straps don't have) that go thru the skid plate so it can be fastened that way. I think folks who upgrade to steel will keep those straps to attach the new plates. Junkyard might be your best bet or see if you can buy just the straps from the dealer

Yeah, I had figured people would just reuse them for their aftermarket skid. I've been looking around, but tough to find. I might just end up buying the straps online. Not sure yet.

How much are the straps? You could probably mod yours and add some studs in the right places if those suckers cost an arm and a leg?

Too much haha...like 80 bucks a piece. That's not a bad idea; I'll look into that. I should be able to come up with something.

From what I saw, they ranged from $65 to $80. They are apparently stainless steel also and they come as a kit. They are $75 on Amazon and the majority of the people that commented used them for their tacoma. Are we going to get blasted for going off on a tangent haha?

Looks like $75 is the price for one?!?

Even if it's for two that's robbery! I'd mod my existing ones if I were you
