Does anyone know the installation process? Does it require drilling into the taco?

If you buy online it will have all the hardware needed and instructions on how to install. A real easy process just some Torx wrenches (dont know the actual spelling) and some patience.

A tip: make sure you bend the front brackets down a bit before install. If you dont you will remember i said this when your installing.

    Good Luck.
