I'm looking for the same thing. Do you know if the wiring harness on the SR5 already has the needed leads for the temp/compass unit?

Be prepared...they're expensive. I almost bought one from one of the guys here. He wanted 200 and my overhead console. I decided that I would be better off buying the mirror with that stuff built in.

From what I hear, the harness is already there on the SR5 models. You will also have to buy the temperature sensor that gets mounted behind your grill. That is about $15 from the dealer.

The new part is supposedly about $800.

A SUPER cheap and easy way for outside temp and all that, is to buy a small weather station with wireless remote sensor from Walmart. $19 and D U N!

There are many digital electronic compasses out there, I've seen um in AutoZone, and Pep Boys. Better yet, learn to read a map, its cheaper adn its FREE!
