I'm doing a satoshi right now, and it is not really easy. Painting it is easier than doing the satoshi mod. Just do the mod yourself if you have the time and don't feel like paying the $300.

Yeah ive done some glasswork building custom sub boxes but im not the best painter in the world plus id rather start with a oem silver grill.....no spray paint is going to hold up like factory paint.

So basically you're just looking for a stock chrome grill? It would be easier to say that than a satoshi because I'm sure there are a ton of people looking to get rid of their old ones. Cheapest I saw on here was $35 without shipping when I was trying out my satoshi myself. Try the search

They are looking for a color-matched silver grill, preferring a satoshi.

Making a satoshi isnt very hard, its just very time consuming. If this is your DD be prepared to not have a grill for a few days. Homertaco sells mesh for it too if you dont have any

You are right, not too hard. Very time consuming and it requires attention to detail, especially if you do the triangles. Mine is almost done, but my triangles will look like crap if people look really close. Oh well, saved $$$
