    Good News Everyone!
I need a stock intake. This might be good for you as I have $ and/or a K&N intake that is not CARB legal in California that I would be willing to trade.

As you may have surmised I have just moved here and tried to smog my truck and promptly was told to GTFO without an EO number or stock intake.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sweet ones.
What is an EO#? I just moved here a few months ago and have been putting off registering my taco cause I've heard the process is a royal PITA. Sorry to hijack...

Welcome. California has some of the strictest smog laws in the nation so ANY modifications to the engine that could possibly affect emissions are regulated.
This means you can't change an intake, header, or other parts on a vehicle unless they have been tested and approved by a state regulatory agency called CARB. Each approved part has an Exemption Order number that allows it to be used on the roads in California.

So if you have a non-approved part on your vehicle it will not pass smog, if you are pulled over the police can check this stuff and will issue a fix it ticket to fix it or the vehicle registration is suspended.
