    Actually, I'd say 50% of the political threads here were pretty thoughtful. There seemed to be two kinds of posts: Rants and actual political commentary. The rants never work. The commentary had some meat to them. I will say though that I have noticed that without political threads, the forum has been a hell of a lot more peaceful.
