    I'm on a motorcycle forum as well that occasionally blows up with silly political rants. They're all buried in 'the dungeon' now. The Dungeon area isn't link on the front page of the site, so you have to go looking for that area to read and post. That slowed alot of the rants since it wasn't in people's faces.

    The one thing we don't put up with there is threats and name-calling. Do that and you get banned from that site.

    I'm here to share Tacoma info with other people. I would hate to see this site get silly with hatred and chest swelling and get shut down.

    There are lots of web sites out there with people who agree with you or where it's encouraged to debate your political ideas.

    What needs to be done is add a "political forum", they did this on a photo site I belong to. It keeps it in one location and those that will be offended can choose not to go there. Kind of enter at your own risk, like the underground, maybe that's where it belongs.
