Ordered some new Sightline wiper blades for the Taco on 20 Apr with 3 day guaranteed delivery. I know shipping companies have been having issues with COVID, inflation, gas prices etc...BUT WTF FEDEX!

That package got sorted improperly, call fed ex and tell them to explain what happened. I had a package sit for 3 days at a fed ex hub, untill i called and had them refund me the expidited shipping cost. Just ended up paying a flat rate.

Not sure I have much recourse since it was free shipping from the retailer. :bananadead:

Be glad it's just wiper blades! My hammer hangers/bumps/ubolt flip got fully lost for two weeks after a major flood in NJ last year. I was definitely sweating having lost out there somewhere with no answers

    I'm curious.
Was the service supposed to be Fedex Express or Ground?
    It flew east.
Looks like it took a truck to Chicago then BNSF rails back to California.

    Don't discount a label error.

I cringe if I'm to receive a package being sent Fedex Ground.
The local center used to just park the trailers out back and tell people to file a claim.

    I hate when that happens.
It's the story of my life whenever I use USPS... Fedex seems pretty good for me.

No way that stopped in Camden, MO. Look where it is on the map. They may have flown over during the night. How are they making money doing stuff like this?

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Living just a couple miles from a FedEx Ground hub in CT, I get to see the caliber of employees that are hired to toss packages from the belt to the trucks. It's amazing that they can even make it in to work. While FedEx hourly pay is above minimum, the employees' hours are limited to just below what would trigger having to include benefits. All drivers (OTR & delivery) are contractors and are not FedEx employees. Toss in the 'marvelous' work ethic of the 18-24 group and one can see the perfect storm of mishandled and misdirected packages.

Not just FedEx, USPS has its own problems. I've had a few packages that have hit my town's PO and then left town and then came back again to be delivered.

That’s a normal FedEx day, every shipment I’ve ever received from them was just like that.

Hmm, often FedEx drops my packages off at a different address,,, a different street name and number, my house is not hard to find. Last package went to an apartment or condo in the neighboring municipality and the home owner was nice/honest enough to drive them over and leave a note.
