Does iDataLink seriously require you to use a Windows machine to program the Maestro? They can't be serious... It's 2019!! And a large majority of users are on Mac's anymore.

As a web developer I cannot tell you how ridiculous this is ... you have to *try* and do something this stupid anymore.

Seriously? You were expecting something useful from a product with a name that starts with an errant lower case "i"?

This is not true, mac is the minority when it comes to computers. I too am a dev and use a mac, but I know from our own user statistics that mac os is not used nearly as much as windows is. Even apple admits that windows is used more than mac.

I think its more funny that they used the "i" on a windows based program when the 'i' is usually used when referring to a apple program or product.

ads aka idatalink makes great products and they're not the only car audio company that requires a PC to flash or update their products.

Being that you are a "Web Developer" maybe you should have asked why you have to use a PC, instead of throwing a fit....

I'm sure someone you know owns a PC or you can use/get Parallels.

Some quick research shows you are way, way wrong; Apple has well less than 25% of the market share for their OS. Your super sweet rant went right into someone’s email trash.

Someone in this thread, and I’m not saying who, is a pompous unhinged elitist pig.

You guys crack me up. Most of you seemed to entirely miss the point was mostly to give the support rep who received this one a bit of a chuckle ... as I'm sure they're frustrated along side customers like myself. I've been in their position many a time ... held back from keeping up with current technology.

The entire email was tongue-in-cheek. Seriously ... ya'll need to take yourselves a *lot* less seriously ... and dust off that sense of humor every once in a while. "Throwing a fit" ... ha ...

And special thanks to the fact-checkers. You guys are the best.
