    Indeed what?

Some people love to be tethered to Itunes to let Stevie hold their hands..... and make no forbidden choices...cannot even swap out a battery...

Meh..Apple is all about holding technophobic hands...always have been.

Yeah I understand that. Actually my wife is better off with the iPhone than the Android. She doesn't appreciate the phone's potential and needs something an 8 year old can operate. Next time around I think I will get her the iPhone. I am wasting my time flashing ROMS on her phone.

Its cute to see people get so emotional about their Apples....

are you retarded or just cant understand simple text? im saying that instead of taking the words of magazines such as Consumer Reports, its best you do a "trial and Error" deal, instead of taking the word of someone or a magazine. hopefully that was simple enough you can fully understand. if you have questions of this message feel free to send me a PM!

Excuse me, there Sparky YOU are the guy who brought up "Consumer Reports"

The testing was done not buy a consumer reporting organization but by a company who makes their entire living selling Service Contracts on these things. Then handling claims to FIX them.....

I think they know a thing or two about reliability......

As far as trial and error..I HAD the iPhone...I had the Itouch.....trial and yeah Error..lots of error. I have no interest in overpriced PC components for a MAC OS. where there are far fewer choices for SW while they tout 1 million "apps" for the icrap. I'll build my own thank you.

Techies get Android, non-techies get iPhones. :p

I bought a Captivate because of some of the facts stated in the first post. The ability to expand via MicroSD. USB connectivity. Not being tied to iTunes crap. Real multitasking of apps. Hot swappable batteries. More customization, Etc... So, in my eyes, it was a better phone AND it was $50 cheaper.

As for people bashing Apple. The real Apple fanatics are just as bad in their unfounded pretentiousness and imagined Apple superiority. They remind me of the people who think Bose is highend audio, just because they paid too much for it. It's all brilliant marketing.

Also, I bet the vast majority of iPhone users don't even realize that there are other options to an iPhone. My 17 year old neice has an iPhone. When she saw my Android she said I should've gotten an iPhone. I asked why and she started to tell me all of the cool things it could do. I showed her that I could do all of those things on my Android and she was amazed. She actually looked disappointed that her iPhone wasn't 'special'.

anti lock brake disable mod, fogtime anytime mod, Leer Topper, all pro plate bumper, toytec 3 inch lift, bfg AT, rims, piaa 5100's, some double din head unit (cant remember), warn 8000 winch, DO sliders, hacked frame to fit full size spare, thule and yakima roof racks
The I phone started it all. I have an evo, but I relize that Apple did all the legwork involved. Evo just improved it. The I pod started the hard drive MP3 player craze, the I pad has been coppied. Windows is a rip off of the orginal mac system. You can improve a Tacoma but what if you had to build it from scratch?? Apple is amazing and a great company. Buy one of their computers and you will see.

Too much for TW to know
Not going to lie I love my apple products. I had a sony VIAO computer before and I like the mac better in every single thing. I'm not going to pretend I am some computer genius that does crazy things, I just use it for my homework (Word/Power Point) and the internet. I just find it faster. Before any haters start saying that there is faster one for cheaper I just wanted to say that the macbook pro is just a good looking laptop, its easy to use and it turns off and on really fast. That's all I really need from a laptop.

I don't have an iphone (still have the old razer haha) but I have an ipod touch. I love thing, the app store, the jail break and the millions of games and other non music things you can do. The screen is also crystal clear.

That's just my opinion so don't start getting into technical details.
