    Whether he's a racist or not....the statement was certainly bigoted, at the least. I'm not always the most PC guy myself and even I twinged some when I read his comment. As someone mentioned earlier, it's 2016 and we have to be a bit more mindful of what we say with regards to our fellow man...and woman. There's nothing wrong with being able to laugh at one another...and that's where PC'ness sometimes goes too far. But random close minded comments just don't have a place in society anymore.

    Honestly this thread just gave me some faith in Americans. I would've thought many would agree with him as any time I'm down there everyone seems subconsciously racist compared to Canadians.

    Maybe so. But that's just the environment we live in now. We have to adapt to some extent. As I mentioned, I'm not the most PC guy. But my 14 year old daughter keeps me in-check. And at the end of the day...a little kindness and acceptance can't hurt anything.
