    Its very important to the emissions in others words your cel will come on if its taking out. The advantage is it gets you car into closed loop faster so the engine will run rich for a shorter time to get the cat's hot

    Step bars, billet grill with custom TOYOTA, MB Quart RSI 216 components, Hifonics ZXi 4410, RAAMmat deadened doors/back wall/roof covered with ensolite , 24" Magnaflow muffler, hand polished stock exhaust tip, tinted, OEM TRD Bilstiens all around with 1/4" spacers up front to level it out. Sport wheels added.
    :thumbsup: I was wondering what that thing was.


    I like the battery pull start better though.:rofl:

    I thought it was a piss resevoir. Toyota thought of everything bunch of studs.

    Think of it like blowing on a camp fire. When the truck is cold the pump blows air downstream to warm up the cat faster...
    My wife's old Volvo had the same thing and they would fill up with condensation killing the pump (they were mounted low below the battery). On the Volvo it would throw a CEL....That little bastard was like $380 for a replacement. So to get through emmissions testing every year I would wire up one of those 12v raft pumps just prior to inspection..:p Yes, I know......Ghetto..:D But it worked until we finally traded in the car with almost 300k on it..
