Pretty bad down in Socal right now too, although you guys up north are definitely getting the worst of it this year. Between gender reveal parties in dry brush and unusual dry lightning strikes all over the place, CA is getting reamed.

This was Sunday AM down here, can normally see the mountain range looking this direction.

Why? Because the inversion is blocking the smoke from coming down to ground levels. It's being suspended above the inversion layer, which is why you don't smell (much) smoke, but it looks apocalyptic.

Yes, meanwhile in Colorado, we've got wet snow that is snapping trees and causing power outages and hopefully reducing and putting out the wildfires here.

It's Cali and we don't have a basement to store all our Taco gear. So it goes in the garage and the car goes outside.

But I do have one car in the two car garage. That and a workbench is all you can fit.

I'd pretend to understand but those newer homes.... I put in a few years in a 1926 home in Oakland and my 1st gen barely fit in the garage with the doors closed. I used to crawl out the back window when I parked it in there and replaced my suspension with about 1' of space on each side of the truck. What's a workbench?!?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Not all of us live in Oakland, so we don't feel the need to hide everything at night.
