what he said ^ if its not that than the problem is inside the radio itself and its time for a new one

Factory radio? 2 of my factory radios went out before I replaced them with my Alpine deck. Fortunately they were covered in my warranty phase.

Do as the others say... But its possible the tuner is blown.

probably a better chance the tuner is blown than the antenna randomly coming loose. In my experience the antenna wire slides pretty tightly into the back of the radio, but still worth checking nonetheless

is it the stock radio? its pretty common for the tuner to quit working while the cd player still functions perfectly, esp on an older radio

I lost the tuner on a receiver years ago when I got out of my '91 Escort and my hand brushed the antenna and static jumped to it.
CD worked, fried the tuner both AM and FM.

Honestly haven't done much research on radios nowadays but Alpine has always done me good.

Do you have any reqs such as bluetooth compatible, ipod friendly with attachment in the front or rear, etc.

I don't want to be Capt. Obvious, but you have an antenna problem.

Check the back to see if the antenna wire is loose or disconnected

edit: nvm... FFS I have to read more before I post, bad habit
