MY wife found this on the floor on the passenger side of the truck. Any ideas what it is and where it goes. I looked for a half hour and found nothing. Thanks in advance.

Covers the wires going from the headliner to your rearview mirror.

Definitely to hide wires above the mirror. Just replaced my autodimming mirror yesterday!

Yup definitely the piece for the mirror. I’ve taken that off several times to hide additional toys. :D

Same! It hid a Peterbuilt on the other side of a 4way.

The weird thing is both cars were on my right side and came to the 4-way stop at the same time as me, so the mirror covered them up completely the entire time, even as they approached the intersection. What I saw was that the intersection was clear and continued, and got honked at because it really was me that had to yield to the car on my right. I reviewed it on my dash cam and saw what actually happened, so glad I was going slow!

I have to be a little more careful now, because I did the driver seat mod and my head is up high again

Yep. Same here. Pretty scary. The fact that I actually stop at stop signs saved my bacon. Riser came along quickly after that.

The mirror also has 2 pivot points to move it around. I have mine adjusted up as high as it will go with being stock. (I have not done that relocation mod) check the owners manual

...and today I learned I'm missing a part off my truck (if the 2016 has the same wire hide). Thank you TW. ha ha

Did it- but stock wont reach as high as the extender can, now the top of mine is snug up against the ceiling. I had my mirror adjusted as high as possible with the two pivots before, and still had issues. It works for you short guys! :)
