WTS: 2011 Leer 100XQ for DC Short bed Silver

Anybody know how easily(or how difficult) is it to paint these? Would it be scuff, primer, paint, clear...or even more involved?

 

Don't know I bought it new and color matched from Leer.

Maybe even a cash offer from me, but I know (for example) that I won't drive from Atlanta to Central Texas for the privilege of paying someone that much money for a used cap.
You may even consider taking off the add-ons which I know adds to its value, but may make some people disinterested. Kind of like selling a modified trail rig, no one sees the value in the mods, unless you find someone looking for exactly what you're selling.
Good luck anyway though, I know I've had my eye on this top for a while now.

 

These are all Leer factory installed options. I'm not going to start taking off stuff that Leer put on.... That would be like taking all the TRD options off my Tacoma to sell it as a base model ...

 

I understand that they're Leer installed options, that was never a mystery to me.

But they are options that came at an increased cost to you at time of ordering.
Thus, it is logical (from a seller's perspective) to charge more for the item in order to recoup a greater portion of that initial cash outlay. But this may be part of the reason you haven't had much luck selling it -that and the fact that you are not wanting to ship.
However given the fact that you have had this for sale for a while, I was making what I thought would be helpful suggestions in order to help you move the product that you no longer have a use for.
Regardless, hope you sell it for all you want for it. Just making a suggestion.

 

i am having the same topper installed tomorrow, with Wilderness package, that's what was ordered at least. Costs about 2500 in S. FL, cant sleep, too excited

That cap is well worth the price. Yea, it maybe used but a basic 100XQ is pushing $2100 not installed. His is damn near optioned out. He is already going to lose an easy grand. If you really wanted this cap, you could make a weekend trip and pick it up. Still would save several hundred from buying it brand new. If you can't give him what he is asking for.. move on. Stop hassling he poor guy.
