Just curious, does this include the striker bolts and backing plate? I may still be interested. I have to find out how much an extra set of rails is from the dealer.

 

It comes with the bolt to lock it down and. The backing plate at the front of the bed which the cover sits on.

 

Is there 4 backing plates total? Just curious why he would remove the backing plates and strikers but leave the hole on the rails. It would seem easier just to swap with someone!

Ok that's not going to work at all. You need these, and Toyota doesn't sell them. Without those 6 backing plates and bolts sticking out, it makes the cover useless

 

Hardware from Toyota is around $250. On top of that you have to trim your bed rails.

 

List on rails is ~$140 each side. Looked into it when I was selling mine, decided it wasn't worth it without the swap.

 

Is this cover still available?
