Question for the general public, when someplace like Discount Tire Direct ships you wheels AND tires already mounted and balanced, how do they do it. I know tires are usually just separate, and rims are usually in a box, but how once they're mounted? With some sort of cover protecting the rims but the wheels are out in the open?

In my experience, they shrinkwrap them, put cardboard between, then strap them to a pallet and ship them...
