I purchased these 3rd gen 4runner seats for my 2000 and I installed the bottom outer rails from my original 1st Gen seats. The inner rails will bolt right up in either a 4runner or Tacoma. You will have to use your outer Tacoma rails to install these but It's pretty easy to do if your handy. I believe the bottoms have been replaced. I don't know what's up with the passenger headrest but all else is in order. $250 firm.
    SOLD

Hello, I couldn't get access to my original account, had to make a new one.

I'd like to buy these seats. I'm in Tennessee. Do you have any plans to visit TN anytime soon? I'm about 3 hours away from Albertville.

I haven't had any luck taking the bottom outside rail off my existing seats. I ground off one rivet, that was located inside the track, on the rear portion the rail the same way it was ground off on the new ones. Somethings still preventing it from sliding off.

I know these are sold just inquiring: I presume these don't have the feature (helpful in extended cabs) that when you use the lever to un-recline the seat the base slides forward?

I originally sold these (used) to @rybern before he installed them. I think I understand what you're asking and I do NOT believe they do that. However, I never had them mounted myself, so not sure!

My understanding is that they are just like the stock Tacoma XtraCab seats, so you'd have to flip the seat forward (un-recline) AND then slide the seat forward (two steps) in order to fully move the seat forward.

This is correct. It's two separate actions.
