WTS: K&N cold air intake 2005-2014

Hey tW! Looking to sell a K&N CAI. It is in basically brand new condition. I used it for 1000 miles almost to the T, then took it off as I got a compressor and where I wanted to mount it sat too close to the CAI so I had to take it out. Nothing wrong with it at all, little dusty from my last trip but I’ll make sure it’s all clean. Have all the hardware for it, a picture of all my parts and a stock photo of how it mounts up. asking $250 obo local to the Inland Empire. Willing to drive to meet up, any questions please ask, thanks!

It’s a newer cai by k&n that mounts like the factory intake but instead has the bigger filter in its own box.

 

Are you sure it fits up to a 2015? I thought the intakes for 2005-2011 differed from 2012-15?

 

Yes, per k&n’s website this will fit all 2nd gens. If I can find the instructions, the difference is in the mounting location. The 2005-2011 uses different mount holes than the 2012-2015. But based off of k&n’s instructions, when I mounted it to my truck (a 2011) it actually used the 2012-2015 mounting hardware. It was throwing me off cause I was following the 2005-2011 instructions, but nothing was lining up so I tried the 2012-2015 mounting steps and it went on perfect.

Your PDF says 05-14, and from my experience as a '15 owner, this is not meant for a '15. Not sure why, but I have run into this road block several times. GLWS.
