Looking to sell a set of Original Equipment JBL premium door speakers and subwoofer with enclosure.
I took these out of my 2020 Tacoma with about 6 months on them. Nothing wrong with them - I just went the route of a full custom replacement from OEM Audio+.

Might be a great upgrade to non-JBL systems - but I don't know if the door speakers would be plug and play or not. The subwoofer is only for replacement purposes in trucks already equipped with the premium JBL sound directly from the factory.

Asking $175 plus shipping for what you see.

How is the OEM Audio+ with JBL? I haven't seen anything about the signature series yet.

I like it a lot. Of course I am biased because I shelled out the money for it.
There are a couple threads here now on the system and install.

Do you have factory Entune radio or aftermarket?

Cool. Thanks for the reply. I’m upgrading my head unit to a Kenwood, but if it doesn’t sound great, I had considered the OEM Audio+ unit to avoid the headaches of going around the canbus.

I have a 15 Taco and a 20 Taco - both with the JBL. I kept the factory HU in both trucks for functionality purposes.
In the 15 I upgraded the sub and added an amp. It sounds pretty damn decent.
In the 20, I went all in and got the OEM Audio+ system. It sounds great.

I also have 2020 with Factory JBL HU. I have been looking to upgrade the speakers & possibly AMP/Subwoofer. From all of the post i see they say it's not a plug & play. You have to Change the whole system.

Please explain how it was done.

    Thanks
    Victor

A company called OEM Audio+ released a complete "plug n play" system earlier this year for the Tacomas equipped with the JBL system from the factory.
It is a long way from cheap, but it is a very nice solution to consider.

Otherwise, there is no real plug n play option. A separate amp can be spliced into the system, but that's really about it. In my '15, I just added a small amp to power a replacement sub in the original JBL box. It's night and day better than factory but it's not in the same league as the OEM Audio setup. Then again, the price to do it isn't in the same league, either.
