maybe if he wants to take on someone elses tacoma payment i guess is fair, as long as both owe close to the same. but i dont think you can do that since technically you dont own the car. how can he owe money on the car, and have the title?

Nice looking car! I was just looking into these last week... but the 2013's :D decided I didn't need another payment.

But for those confused about how the debt/loan works, its pretty simple. My truck is paid off so if we traded, then OP gets a loan from the bank for $25k for my truck and the bank writes me the check. We swap vehicles. I pay off the loan on the car with the $25k I just made, and still have $3k left over :D now OP gets a 3 year old vehicle instead of 4 with half the miles as before, and way cooler than the Lexus ;) for only $3,000. I get a downgrade with same mph and make some cash to fund my upcoming 8 day Caribbean Cruise next summer :D

Anyways, to get back on track... I suggest you just do a dealer trade-in or try advertising a private sale through auto-trader or something. If your in a hurry, the most cash you'll get from a vehicle without a private sale will be from Carmax. They will buy your car for just about KBB. You can pay the loan, hopefully your not up side down, then go buy a new truck.... or used.

Best option you have IMO. Try Carmax for real though, I think you'll be surprised what they offer.

5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
Each party would buy the others vehicle with either savings or bank loans. Same as if it's only one vehicle just twice.

haha thank you guys for all the input into this thread! There may be someone out there who is interested in getting into a car like mine. Being open minded to things of this such is not unheard of.

If anyone is still interested, the car is still available. Thanks!

what exactly are you trying to do or get? because 22k is a deep debt nobody wants to pay including yourself.
