Howdy, TW folks. Drove my new truck home today and want to trade the scoop hood for a non-scoop hood. 2013 Silver Streak Mica. In Central Texas. Would like to trade only if your hood is new or near-new condition.

    Thanks!

I have a 2012 silver streak mica non scoop, the truck only has 10k miles and the thing looks like it did on day one, the only problem is that I live in Gulfport, MS. If you're cool with it then lets trade. I'll send you a PM with my number

And the winner is 2013TacoLTD! We're each driving about 200 miles tomorrow to meet up in a parking lot and swap hoods even-Steven.

Anybody have any tips for the procedure? Seems to be straightforward enough, but want to avoid any gotchas.

    lucky 2013tacoLTD!!!!

super easy, 4 bolts, and unhook windshield washer nozzles, since both your trucks are new, you can prob save trouble just by unhooking one elbow connector near the corner so you don't actually have to touch the nozzles, make sure not to let hood hit your windshield (easily done with 2 people each holding one edge) make sure someone has a socket set

Meet at an autozone/orilleys to borrow any needed parts. Not sure where y'all are meeting, but Waco should have one.
